Architect Saves Cost and Saves 45 Days by Using SlenderWall Instead of Hand-Laid Brick

Using hand-laid brick would have been cost prohibitive on this ten-story, 292-unit project. By using SlenderWall panels with the Architectural Precast Concrete Brick (APCB) finish, the architect was able to create a high-end finish at an economical cost. He also saved the owner forty-five days on the construction schedule thanks to in-plant production.

The Architectural Precast Concrete Brick (APCB) finish is the only permanent, perfect reproduction of a hand-laid brick exterior that is worthy to be used on a class “A” commercial building, enabling the new structure to blend in with existing residential buildings nearby.

The precast concrete detailing would not have been affordable if done with real limestone. The result is a high-quality upscale finish at an economical cost.
